Tangshan Zhonghao Chemical Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as "ZHCC") was established in June 2010, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kailuan Energy & Chemical Co., Ltd (KEC). ZHCC is located in Kailuan Coal Chemical Industry Park of Tangshan Seaport Development Zone in Hebei Province, with the registered capital of RMB 2.394 billion, covering an area of 1,923 acres. It has 840 employees, including 26 postgraduates, 59.6% with bachelor degree or above, and 97.8% with associate degree or above. The revenue in 2022 was 2.73 billion CNY, and the total profit and tax was 110 million CNY.

ZHCC has 40,000 t/a POM project and 150,000 t/a adipic acid project with a total investment of 5 billions. Both projects are encouraged by government and listed as the "3255 Circular Economy Demonstration Park of the core support projects". These two projects have been regarded as the landmark projects for Kailuan Group to achieve the transformation  of the coal → coke → chemical → new materials. ZHCC has been recognized as a high-tech enterprise for three consecutive times since 2015, and also has been granted as "Specialized, Special New" enterprises in 2022. There is a provincial-level scientific and technological innovation and R&D platform, "Hebei Coal-Based Fine Chemical Industry Technological Innovation Center", which has been awarded as a provincial-level science and technology-oriented SME and A-grade industrial  R&D organization.

ZHCC produces Acetal Copolymer (POM) with high-quality ( "Kailuan Con” brand), which are general thermoplastic engineering plastics with excellent performance. This product has good color and roundness, high aging resistance, secondary processing and stability, fatigue resistance, creep resistance, abrasion resistance, heat resistance, alkali resistance, and has been widely used in automotive, machinery manufacturing, precision instruments and other industries. Adipic Acid  is an important chemical raw material, which was granted as the Individual champion product of manufacturing industry in Hebei Province in 2021.

It is mainlyused in the production of nylon 66, polyurethane, PU slurry, shoe sole stock, degradable plastics, plasticizers and other fields. Since the project was completed and put into operation, the products of POM and adipic acid have passed various certifications such as EU Reach, RoSH and  K-Reach, etc. POM has been successfully exported to Asia, Europe and South America, while adipic acid has been exported to those countries along  "One Belt and One Road", totally over 30 countries.
